Kewadin Sault Ste Marie Hotel

Overall a very good experience. The place is actually pretty large and includes a amphitheater conference center, casino, gift shop, cafe, pub-style bar, restaurant, and multiple casino gaming floors (smoking and non-smoking gaming areas available). We have stayed here twice as of this review and enjoyed both. The rooms are spacious enough, but the beds were too hard and the pillows were to flat for my preferences. The bathroom in our room was ok, but there was some wear and tear kn the tiles and wallpaper. Also the sink faucet was automatic and stayed on way too long to effectively save any water... The room did have a mini fridge/freezer and a microwave which was very convenient. At the time of our last visit the hotel was under construction and looks like the additions will be very nice. We ordered a pizza from the Cafe and it was excellent.

Facility is from the 90s, exterior remodeled, rooms remodeled (ongoing), the rest of facility is dated. Pool, hot tub and sauna clean, not crowded, and modern, but hours were limited. Low key, easy to work with staff, not a modern casino hotel but cared for.

We stayed for one night as we were attending an event that evening. The whole hotel has been renovated. The room was nice and spacious, new furniture and linens. The new bathrooms where very nice, took the shower was decent sized and decent pressure. It's nice how all you have to do is walk downstairs and you can get a meal or snack to bring back to the room. All on all It was a nice stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Kewadin. Check in was easy, friendly. Room was dated but comfortable and clean :) Great water pressure for the shower! But what made the trip is the Valet who was chatting with us on our way out. We didn't use Valet service, but he was just chatting with us while we waited for our friends - Maurice I believe his name was. I worked hospitality for many years and I have rarely come across genuine hospitality, you have a GEM there with him!! He was outgoing and friendly and we felt we left making a friend :) Thank You so much.

Its not in the prettiest of spots... but had soo soo much fun the black Jack dealers Thomas and Fred were so much fun! We had such a good time here! Will be back... Kewadin Sault St. Marie is our new favorite casino in MI Also the rooms are you standard casino rooms nothing special but nothing bad either

Very nice hotel! Love the connecting area between casino and hotel, very cozy! Rooms were very clean. Front desk was friendly, and check in easy. A lot to offer here so we’ll definitely be back!

The only thing to be aware of is the new bed frames are lower and stick out a little from the mattress. I banged my shin bone 3 times in 2 days. Nice rooms. Nice bathroom.

I love the fact I could talk to a real person to make my reservation. Super busy place, didn't receive calls back when I left a message, best to call in the morning. Friendly, caring staff. Our room was very clean, housekeeping is currently understaffed, but doing a fantastic job and courteous. The location is excellent, a short indoor walk to the theater, bar, walk up cafe', and Casino gaming. Our room had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and table seating.
